Solmei Korean School was established in 1989 at the Korean Martyrs Catholic Church of Baltimore and has faithfully served the local community for many years with a mission to nurture the identity and cultural roots of Korean-American children.

In addition to Korean language classes, students learn about Korean culture, Korean history, and the history of Korean immigration to the United States, helping them better understand their heritage and identity. Through a variety of enrichment activities such as origami, Korean art, traditional ink painting, sports day, cultural holiday events, and field trips, students also learn the value of communication, cooperation, and community.

Students at Solmei Korean School not only improve their Korean language skills, but also directly experience the cultural heritage and resilience of the Korean people while strengthening their identity as Korean Americans.

All teachers at Solmei Korean School are committed to helping students grow into individuals with strong values, character, and a positive influence on others.
