솔뫼 한국학교는 1989년 볼티모어 한국 순교자 성당에서 설립되어, 차세대 한인 자녀들의 정체성 교육을 위해 오랜 세월 지역사회를 섬겨 온 전통 있는 학교입니다.
학생들은 한국어 수업뿐 아니라 한국 문화와 역사, 그리고 미국 이민 역사를 배우며 자신의 뿌리와 정체성을 이해하고 자긍심을 키워 갑니다. 또한 종이접기, 한국 미술, 동양화, 운동회, 다도, 명절 행사, 현장학습 등 다양한 특별활동을 통해 배우고 경험하며, 협력과 배려, 공동체 의식을 함양합니다.
솔뫼 한국학교 학생들은 한국어 실력 향상은 물론, 한민족의 문화유산과 정신을 직접 배우고 경험하며 한국계 미국인으로서의 정체성을 더욱 확립해 나가고 있습니다.
특히 학생들이 발표와 토론, 다양한 체험 활동에 적극 참여하도록 함으로써 자신감과 리더십을 키우고, 미래 사회를 이끌어 갈 건강한 인성과 책임감을 갖춘 인재로 성장할 수 있도록 돕고
있습니다.

Founded in 1989 at the Korean Martyrs Catholic Church in Baltimore, Solmei Korean School has served the community for over three decades by helping Korean American students develop a strong sense of language, culture, and identity.
Students learn Korean language, history, and culture while exploring their heritage and building pride in their roots. Through a variety of activities such as art, traditional cultural experiences, sports events, holiday celebrations, and field trips, students develop leadership, confidence, teamwork, and a strong sense of community.
Our dedicated teachers are committed to helping students grow into individuals with strong values, character, and a positive influence on others.
